NHS Staff to Benefit From Free Use of Microsoft Teams

Following on from the previous announcement that NFP Charities can benefit from free Office 365 usage, Microsoft have recently announced that NHS staff will now be able to use Microsoft Teams for free as a response to the COVID-19 outbreak.

Headlines have been full of stories covering the immense pressure the NHS is currently under due to the pandemic. Providing free use of Teams will allow hospital staff to effectively communicate on the go.

Cindy Rose, the Chief Executive of Microsoft UK had the following to say about the initiative “Microsoft is fully committed to assisting the NHS at this incredibly challenging time. The use of Microsoft Teams will ensure the hardworking doctors, nurses and support staff across all NHS organisations have the collaboration tools they need to carry out their vital work. We are hugely appreciative of their ongoing efforts to tackle COVID-19 and will continue to provide support however best we can.”
