Within a mere span of 3 years, they’ve successfully established 36 stores championing the physical and mental well-being of achieving a rejuvenating 8 hours of sleep each night, across 8 European nations.
This momentum led Sleep.8 to take the lead in providing innovative shopping experiences tailored to the needs of new customers. Sleep.8 sought technology solutions that not only dazzle, but also provide operational efficiency for staff and elevate the customer experience without any compromise.

The challenges
Having expanded to 36 stores across eight European countries in just three years, Sleep.8’s rapid growth meant the business needed a consistent way to deliver its innovative retail experience at scale, while maintaining the high standards customers expected from the brand.
The team wanted to create a more engaging and personalised shopping journey that would help customers navigate a wide range of sleep products with confidence. At the same time, store teams needed technology that could support customers independently, reducing reliance on staff while still providing expert guidance and recommendations.
As the business continued to expand, it was also important that any solution could be managed centrally and rolled out consistently across multiple locations. Sleep.8 needed a scalable platform that would enhance the customer experience, improve operational efficiency and provide a blueprint for future store growth across Europe.
The solution
Vizst chose Wallboard, an all-in-one digital experience platform with interactive displays, as the foundation and created a matrix-designed microsite aligned with Sleep.8’s catalogue and brand guidelines, offering customers a digital path to their shopping cart.
This was done in collaboration with Sleep.8’s retail design agency to ensure seamless integration with each store’s layout and accessibility features. The content management solution empowers Sleep.8 staff to create, update, and control the content displayed on the screens & get support remotely.
The innovative shopping software is now displayed through three screen solutions: two 49” video wall screens for lifestyle videos, a single screen for information, and 65” portrait touchscreens for interactive product recommendations. A questionnaire on touch screen TVs at store entry points guides customers through selecting their preferred sleeping positions, leading to personalised recommendations for pillows and mattresses. Updates are remotely managed by Vizst, establishing a blueprint for global stores. Vizst also installed a video wall setup in a relaxed area, allowing customers to engage with product showcases and reasons to choose Sleep.8.
