Porsche – Video Wall
The brief
Constructive Image Ltd, design and install stunning interiors and in this particular case enlisted Vizst Technology to install a huge 92” 4K video screen at the Porsche Centre Bournemouth.
The screen was to be installed at height in the double story show room, alongside a number of fixed images showing some retro pictures of Porches history, enabling moving images of the cars and branding to catch the eye of the visiting enthusiast and potential purchaser.
The solution
Vizst Technology specified a 2.3 meter wide LG screen with 4K resolution and a Brightsign Player for optimum viewing in this location.
As the Large Format Display (LFD) screen was to be located at height in the showroom the size of the screen was very important to ensure the visual effect was maximised. Content is updated and managed by Vizst Technology for the Bournemouth Porsche Centre, with training planned for them to take it over in the future.
A custom manufactured bracket was required, as the large and heavy screen was to be fixed safely to a nonstandard wall finish. Working at heights between 4 & 5 meters for the installation was a challenge overcome by the team, who are experienced working in a myriad of different locations and spaces. Constructive Image Ltd worked with Vizst Technology as a local supplier of specialist AV solutions, time was of the essence on this project and finding a company who could deliver the LFD project in a short lead time and to the exact specification, was absolutely crucial for them.
