Finance Administrator
- To ensure that the business is financially accurate and auditable, complying with all legal obligations and delivering the Company target
- To ensure that all accounting transactions are processed on a daily basis
- To support the delivery of the Financial Strategy
- To produce all auditable Management Information
- To assist the Finance Function in producing timely and accurate, audit proof management accounts, in line with Company policy
- Support the CFO in compiling interim reports and production of year end statutory accounts
- To be vigilant and make recommendations for efficiency savings and cost saving
- Process banking receipt and payment transactions on a daily basis
- Execute effective cash flow management, ensuring budgeted Accounts Receivable and Cash metrics are exceeded or at least maintained
- Execute the Purchase Ledger function, posting transactions, seeking approval
- Liaise with CFO to agree with suppliers regarding payment expectations and payment plans as necessary
- Execute the Sales Ledger function, posting transactions from source data as appropriate
- Provide credit control to ensure target debtor days are achieved
- Ensure customers pay to terms, applying the credit control policy
- Assist the CFO in preparing month end accrual and prepayment
- Ensure internal overhead Cross Charging process executed in a timely fashion
- Compile Company reports and returns as required (VAT, CSO etc)
- Escalation point for all financial queries, both internal and external
- Report and make recommendations to improve on the Company’s use of accounting software, aiming to increase automation where appropriate
- Perform any other reasonable duties consistent with the role as required

Relevant Experience and Qualifications: Mandatory:
- A minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar position
- Experience with cloud based accounting product Xero
Optional:
Attained or studying towards AAT or CIMA/ACCA
